Check your bike
These are the characteristics that determine whether your bike is likely to fit. When capacity matters, use Product Specs—do not guess from marketing copy alone.
Bike weight
Confirm each bike against Product Specs. Standard capacity is 125 lb per bike, or 250 lb combined for a standard two-bike setup. Ask us if you are near a limit or running a non-standard configuration.
Tire and wheel fit
Wheel trays are designed for skinny tires through fat tires up to 5 inches wide (1 to 5 inches overall).
Crank compatibility
Bikes are secured through a crank-arm retention system. The design covers a wide range of crank-arm designs and geometries. If your crank looks unusual, send us photos before you order.
E-bikes
Built for heavy e-bikes that conventional racks struggle with. Check weight against Product Specs capacity ratings, and wheelbase against the installation manual guidance.
Fat-tire bikes
Yes—tray slots support skinny tires or fat tires up to 5 inches.
Cargo and extended wheelbase
Cargo bikes and extended-wheelbase setups are part of the intended range. The installation manual includes cargo and extended-wheelbase loading guidance, including a maximum wheelbase of 55 inches for e-bikes.
Mountain and road bikes
Mountain and road geometries are supported through adjustable crank-arm retention and multiple tire sizes.
Unusual frames or drivetrains
If fenders, racks, or drivetrain parts look like they might interfere with the tray or crank holder, check the manual clearances or ask us about fit before you order.
Vehicle & hitch
Check your vehicle
Verify the hitch and the space behind your vehicle before you buy. We can help interpret rack requirements; your vehicle and hitch manufacturers set the load ratings.
Hitch receiver size
A 2-inch hitch receiver is required. An adaptor is not recommended. Do not use a 1.25-inch receiver.
Hitch and vehicle ratings
Compare the combined weight of the rack and bikes to your hitch tongue-weight rating and your vehicle’s hitch rating. RadGnaRack cannot determine a vehicle manufacturer’s towing or tongue-weight rating—check your vehicle and hitch manufacturer’s specifications.
Ground and rear clearance
Rear and ground clearance depend on the rack and attachment-bar configuration. Confirm the relevant dimensions on Product Specs, and contact us if you are unsure about your vehicle. Make sure you have room behind the vehicle for the rack, loaded bikes, and loading path.
Hatch, liftgate, and dual setups
Make sure the hatch or liftgate can open as needed with the rack installed. For two-bike configurations, follow the dual-attachment spacing guidance in the installation manual.

Check space behind the bumper for the rack, loaded bikes, and hatch or liftgate swing. Confirm relevant dimensions on Product Specs, and use the installation manual for mounting notes. Contact us if you are unsure about your vehicle.
